One of the most exciting and successful world leading engineering organisation based in Worcestershire who design and develop world:class products and 1st class technology for the Scientific Industry are now seeking to hire for a brand new Embedded Software Engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. This Embedded Software Engineering role would suit a Senior Embedded Software Engineer or a Mid:Level Embedded Software Engineer who is looking for a next step career progression to become a Senior Embedded Software Engineer.

Salary

The salary on offer for the successful Embedded Software Engineer is GBP 40,000 : GBP 55,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience.

Flexible Hybrid Working Arrangement

Working from home once or twice a week is available. 5 days working in the office is available.

The Role

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will join and integrate well with an accomplished and friendly multi:disciplined engineering team and will be involved in the design, development, testing and provide new and existing cutting edge software across the full project lifecycle.

Embedded Software Engineer Key Skills

: 3:5+ years industry experience

: Embedded Software Programming in C

: Experience of low level firmware and bare metal development

: Experience of Microcontrollers : Microchip PIC's, STM32, ARM

: Network interfaces : SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Bluetooth, Ethernet etc

: Hardware design and ability to interpret circuit schematics

: Good teamwork and communication skills

Desirable Nice To Have Skills

: Other programming languages : C++, C.Net, Assembler, Python

: RTOS Experience : FreeRTOS, Windows, Linux, or similar

: Experience of GUI (Graphical User Interface) software

: Experience of IDE's : Visual Studio, MPLABX, Eclipse, STM Cube IDE or similar

: Knowledge and experience of CPLD, FPGA's

: A familiarity with machine vision and camera interfacing

: Experience of design for low to medium volume manufacturing
