Experience : 04- 08 Years
Experience with software testing for Embedded AUTOSAR BSW platforms
Experience in embedded C on microcontrollers
Experience with GitLab
Experience with a scripting language
Either:
Experience with software test frameworks
Experience with UART communications for embedded platforms
Skills Required:
Primary Responsible
Responsible for AUTOSAR BSW Embedded Software testing (unit, integration and functional test)
Strong Hardware fundamentals of Signals and Components.
Good understanding of Hardware project flow from block diagram to Schematic preparation and Layout design to testing.
Responsible for co-ordination with the team and stakeholders for common understanding of the requirements
Responsible for Executing the tests
Responsible for generating test reports, review of reports
Responsible for analyzing the customer Issues
Test Process
Responsible for the following processes in the test area
Responsible for achieving requested quality standards (Automotive, Testing Spice)
Test Environment
Responsible for defining generic test environment (Hardware, Software & Mechanic) at for the projects handled
Testing
Responsible for creating test specifications for the projects
Responsible of executing the tests for the projects handled
Responsible for providing the complete coverage for the tests.
Other appreciated qualities
Experience with build automation tools
Understanding of CI/CD and continuous integration processes
Experience with software version control, issue tracking and code quality tools
Experience with static analysis tools and code coverage tools and DOOR’s
Interest in embedded security and cryptography
Willingness to grow in test implementation
Soft skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with an open mind
Able to think outside of the box and find new ways to test or meet requirements
Team player
Able to take ownership of a project or activity
Good communication and documentation skills
Software development know how.
