Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
Experience: 2–5 Years of hands-on embedded hardware experience
Work Timing: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Company Overview
We build next-generation motion simulation platforms and immersive hardware experiences for VR / 7D environments. Our projects include motion simulation chairs such as Melzo Anubhav 7D, VR-based rocket launchers, VR surgical instrument simulators, and other advanced embedded electro-mechanical platforms that integrate with software through Bluetooth and sensor-based interfaces.
We are looking for an engineer who can code on the hardware side, control motion systems, design PCBs, and build embedded hardware that communicates seamlessly with VR and software systems.
Job Description
This role focuses entirely on hardware-side embedded systems development. The engineer will be responsible for designing, building, programming, wiring, testing, and optimizing embedded electro-mechanical hardware used in immersive VR and motion simulation platforms, while working closely with software teams for integration (without writing software-side application code).
Role & Responsibilities
• Control servo motors, actuators, and motion platforms using embedded firmware
• Perform electro-mechanical wiring of motion simulation platforms, sensors, and effects modules
• Build embedded systems for immersive VR hardware projects such as rocket launchers, surgical instruments, and motion chairs
• Design and develop custom PCB boards for integration in motion simulation chairs like Melzo Anubhav 7D
• Develop firmware / embedded code that runs on PCBs and microcontrollers
• Implement Bluetooth communication (BLE) between PCB hardware and VR devices
• Build hardware systems capable of receiving commands from software/VR systems and triggering motion, haptics, lighting, and special effects
• Integrate microcontrollers with IMUs, sensors, vibration modules, lighting, haptics, and FX triggers
• Prototype, test, and optimize embedded hardware systems
• Debug motor behavior, Bluetooth interfaces, and PCB communication reliability
• Work closely with software teams to ensure hardware–software compatibility, without developing software-side application code
Must-Have Technical Skills
Embedded / Hardware-Side Coding
• Strong experience with microcontroller programming (Embedded C / C++)
• Familiarity with platforms such as:
– STM32
– ESP32 / ESP8266
– Arduino
– nRF BLE chipsets
– PIC / AVR (optional but beneficial)
• Experience writing firmware that communicates over Bluetooth BLE
• Strong understanding of UART, SPI, I²C, PWM, ADC, GPIO
• Ability to build embedded code for motor control and hardware communication protocols
PCB Design & Embedded System Development
• Experience designing PCBs using tools such as:
– Altium Designer
– KiCAD
– Eagle
– OrCAD / Proteus
• Knowledge of:
– Bluetooth module integration on PCB
– Motor driver circuits
– Power management systems
– Sensor interfacing
– Noise reduction and EMI considerations
• Ability to prototype and assemble PCB boards
• Understanding of embedded system architecture for real-time motion and FX triggering
Electro-Mechanical & Motion Systems Skills
• Hands-on experience with:
– Servo motors
– Stepper motors
– DC motors
• Experience with motor drivers such as TB6612, DRV8825, A4988, BTS7960, etc.
• Strong understanding of PWM motor control
• Experience working with actuators and vibration/haptic modules
• Ability to perform electro-mechanical wiring of motion platforms
• Understanding of motion kinematics and feedback control loops
• Experience building motion rigs or simulation platforms is a strong advantage
Communication & IoT Hardware Skills
• Experience integrating hardware with:
– Bluetooth BLE
– RF modules
– IMUs (MPU6050, BMI160, BNO055, etc.)
– Haptic / vibration drivers
– Lighting and FX trigger circuits
• Ability to build reliable Bluetooth communication between VR headset/device and embedded hardware PCB
Nice-To-Have / Bonus Skills
• Experience with motion simulation chairs, 7D chairs, or amusement motion platforms
• Knowledge of battery-powered embedded systems
• Experience with embedded RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.)
• Understanding of CAD for mechanical housings (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Familiarity with manufacturing handoff and PCB production
Who This Role Is NOT For
We do not need:
• Software application developers
• Front-end, back-end, Unity, or Unreal software coders
• Engineers focused only on software integration
This role is strictly for engineers who can build hardware and embedded firmware, not software-side applications.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields
• Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on embedded hardware experience
Work Environment
• Highly creative and hands-on prototyping culture
• Direct involvement in futuristic VR and motion hardware platforms
• Close collaboration with product and software teams for hardware integration
