???? We’re Hiring: Embedded Systems Engineer – Smart BMS Integration
???? Location: Gurugram | ???? Full-time | ⚡ Yanti Innovative Electromotive Solutions Pvt Ltd
At Yanti, we’re building smart, serviceable, and interoperable battery systems designed to work across diverse EV platforms — even when protocols are undocumented. We’re looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer who thrives in technically demanding environments and wants to make their mark on India’s energy future.
If you’ve ever reverse-engineered a CAN frame, debugged a UART misfire in the field, or written firmware to solve what others said was “impossible,” — you belong with us.
???? What You’ll Do
• Architect embedded firmware for BMS platforms using STM32/ESP32 or equivalent MCUs
• Design state-machine-driven control logic for cell balancing, thermal management, and fault protection across LFP, NMC, and LTO chemistries
• Develop and debug CAN/UART communication stacks for host integration — even without OEM protocol documentation
• Implement abstraction layers that allow seamless, plug-and-play behavior with various EV MCUs and displays
• Use tools like CANalyzer, SavvyCAN, PCAN, Saleae Logic Analyzer, J-Link and oscilloscopes for real-time signal diagnostics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in hardware, testing, and thermal engineering to deliver robust and field-tested systems
✅ What You Bring
• 3–8 years of experience in embedded systems development, preferably in EV, battery, or automotive systems
• Proficiency in C/C++, working with real-time firmware and bare-metal drivers
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, CMSIS-RTOS) and interrupt-driven architectures
• Solid understanding of SOC/SOH estimation, cell protection strategies, and sensor integration
• Strong debugging skills with tools like JTAG, ST-Link, or Serial Console
• Bonus: Experience with open-source BMS platforms (LibreBMS, DieBieMS, BatMon)
• Bonus: Familiarity with Python diagnostic tools (cantools, PySerial, pandas, Jupyter)
