Embroidery Design Specialist
As an Embroidery Design Specialist, you will conceptualize and create intricate embroidery designs that bring our collections to life. This role requires a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary embroidery techniques, as well as the ability to innovate and push boundaries.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with design teams to develop seasonal themes and narrative directions.
• Conceptualize and sketch embroidery designs based on mood boards and design briefs.
• Innovate by blending heritage craftsmanship with modern design trends and silhouettes.
• Work with various colour palettes, threads, beads, sequins, and embellishments to bring embroidery designs to life.
• Translate design concepts into detailed embroidery artworks for sampling.
• Maintain high standards of quality control in embroidery application across sampling and production.
Requirements:
• Degree in Fashion or Textile Design from a reputable institution.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in embroidery design and surface ornamentation.
• Strong understanding of Indian embroidery traditions and modern design trends.
• Expertise in colour theory and material application.
