Emergency Department Health Care Assistant. Reporting to Senior Sister/ Senior Charge Nurse Emergency department
The Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) is part of the nursing team to deliver high quality person-centred care. Supervision and support are provided by Registered Nurses.
The HCSW undertakes fundamental personal care duties including: bathing; toileting; dressing; support with meals and assisting patients with their appearance. HCSW will work as part of a team to give high quality care for patients in the hospital setting
