The role also oversees a small team responsible for engagement operations, employer and student-facing events, and the Careers Centre’s on-campus presence. Working with a highly experienced and collaborative team, you will help shape how employability services are delivered as part of a major uplift of the University’s employability strategy.
This role will suit someone with strong operational leadership and stakeholder management experience who is ready to step beyond delivery into designing and leading new service functions.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

lead the planning and delivery of employer and student-facing events in line with the employability events calendar
oversee the operation and continuous improvement of the Careers Centre’s physical on-campus presence
design and implement employer account management practices to support effective and responsive engagement
manage operational workflows, including enquiry triage and service coordination across internal teams
provide leadership and supervision to the Employability Engagement team, including planning and prioritisation of work
contribute to service reporting, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
demonstrated experience in operational management, service coordination and process improvement
proven ability to lead and support staff delivering complex engagement or service activities
strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across diverse internal and external groups
experience working within the higher education sector or a similarly complex service environment
well-developed communication, planning and organisational skills with a strong customer service focus
ability to apply sound judgement, business acumen and strategic thinking in a values-driven organisation
relevant tertiary qualifications, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
