The Role

Employment Senior Associate – Leeds – Up to £85,000 salary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded international employment practice with an impressive portfolio of employer clients ranging from SME’s to large multinationals.

Recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners as a top law firm in Leeds across various practice areas, this is a great opportunity to join a market-leading practice with longstanding relationships on a global level.

The team offers a wide range of legal services for businesses advising on contentious, non-contentious and support on corporate transactions in the UK and across various jurisdictions.

You will undertake a diverse range of employment matters, including complex discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract litigation. You will also have he opportunity to be involved in non-contentious projects, often with an international element.

The Candidate
• Employment Solicitor with at least 5 years of post qualification experience
• Proficient in both contentious and non-contentious work
• Ability to manage tribunal claims and other contentious matters
• Experience of advising multi-national commercial clients
• A high level of commerciality, with excellent time management, and the ability to offer practical advice
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with clients
• Ideally experience of supervising and assisting in the development of junior team members
• A strong and effective communicator and the ability to influence at all levels
