Employment Litigation Associate
NQ+ - 2+ PQE
Bristol / UK wide
Fully Remote (DOE) or Hybrid (3/2 days per week)

This leading law firm in Bristol is looking for an NQ+ - 2 year PQE UK solicitor/CILEx qualified or Associate with strong expertise in employment law and litigation, to join their thriving team, either remotely (DEO) or in a hybrid arrangement. They are seeking an Employment Lawyer to enhance a dynamic team, with a strong focus on Employment Tribunal litigation while also supporting the growth of the Employment practice.
In this role, you will be the primary client contact for a diverse caseload, efficiently managing multiple files. You will provide comprehensive advice on various employment law issues, including daily inquiries and contentious matters such as Employment Tribunal claims.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing Employment Tribunal litigation, which entails drafting and responding to claims, preparing witness statements, and providing advocacy (at least at the preliminary hearing stage)
• Offering daily employment and HR guidance through phone and written communication to managers, HR staff, and senior executives/Board members
• Drafting contracts, policies, and other employment-related documents
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance matters, whistleblowing, unfair dismissals, and conducting investigations
• Engaging in negotiations and drafting settlement agreements
• While fully remote options are available, less experienced candidates will be required to work in the office on a hybrid schedule of three days per week.
