Senior Energy Market Analyst - Support
- Gather and analyze data from various sources, including market reports, news articles, and industry databases
- Develop and maintain market models to forecast energy prices and assess market risks
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities
- Prepare market reports and presentations to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
- Support senior analysts with research projects and ad-hoc requests
- Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and developments
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Energy Economics, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in energy market analysis or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e. , Excel, Python, R)
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy and deadlines
