UON’s business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON’s Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.
About The Opportunity:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical HD Fitter | Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Malaga Perth.
This position will suit a skilled and self-motivated HD Mechanic with prior exposure to maintenance and testing of power generation, dewatering and pump equipment.
Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Equipment Mechanic (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).
A minimum of 3 years' experience of Servicing and Diagnostics experience gained in heavy vehicle, mining, heavy construction, materials handling or similar heavy industry.
Power pack swap-outs.
All associated mechanical works - fuel / cooling/ guarding / pumps / mechanical assembly of products.
Assist in prototype builds and process documentation.
Assist in quality and safety documentation, assist developing efficient mechanical designs with suitable fittings to identify bill of materials / use of UON proprietary Quality tablet system for MDR records.
Ability to work alone or as a team, maintain a clean / safe / efficient workspace.
