Tasks
• Design, development and support for the IC Engine system and components
• Support for drawings, DMU packaging ,release parts and assemblies
• Smooth delivery of the assigned tasks
• Timely and transparent customer interaction for engineering feasibility
• Active support as and when required at the team and department level
• Support for in-house activities, Management review meetings and Presentations
• Seamless integration with the global teams
• Assist team leader to achieve company goals / objectives
• When required execute any other task assigned by Department Head, DGM and Reporting manager
Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Automobile)
• Knowledge in Engine components and aggregate design
• Well versed in component design process and engineering calculations
• Know-how of the field issues and resolutions
• Strong competency for design review and new ideas
• Awareness of the design standards (local and international)
• Must be well versed with the Drawing standards, Data Management, Release management and Co-Ordination
• Design and development of parts with Supplier interaction.
• UG NX tool : Strong in Part Design, assembly design, DMU, Kinematic design, Drawing & Team Centre
• Knowledge of GD & T
• Good understanding of Intercultural work management
• Preferred Skills:
• Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
• Usage of tools – MS Office, Databases, project planning tools
• Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
• Basic conversation skills in German or Japanese language is added advantage
