Responsibilities of Engine Mechanic:
• Daily travel in a company service vehicle to dispersed customer locations
• Preventative engine maintenance and service
• Major system repairs, engine diagnostic testing, troubleshooting of control systems
• Troubleshooting of control systems including malfunctioning sensors, switches, relays, contactors, actuators, and control valves
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment including lubricating, cleaning, adjusting, etc. as needed.
• Perform visual inspection and diagnostic testing
• Electrical maintenance and repair
• Read blueprint
