About this Opportunity:
This role requires a skilled mechanic to perform technical tasks such as estimating repair costs, inspecting and testing engines and motors, adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts using hand tools and equipment, and performing scheduled maintenance service on equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Determine repair costs
• Conduct thorough inspections and tests of engines and motors
• Use hand tools and equipment to adjust, repair, or replace parts
• Verify equipment performance after repairs
• Maintain equipment through regular servicing
• Communicate work performed and equipment condition to customers
• Mentor junior staff members
• Analyze work orders and collaborate with supervisors
• Travel to client locations for small repairs
Essential Qualifications:
• Completed secondary education
• Minimum 3 years' experience or equivalent apprenticeship training in small engine or equipment repair
• Valid driver's license
