Job Title: Business Analyst – Transaction Surveillance Sanctions & Embargo
Location: Pune
Corporate Title : Assistant Vice President
The position is in Corporate Bank - Transaction Surveillance Technology . Our goal is to protect our customers and Deutsche Bank against breaches of sanctions & embargo policies, as well as against fraud and company-damaging business practices in payments. Therefore, we develop innovative software solutions for checking regulatory and technical requirements in real time.
We are looking for an experienced Business Functional analyst for sanction screening platform. The Business Analyst is responsible for enhancing and maintaining multiple applications supporting the regulatory filtering needs for the bank. The BA will be responsible for liaising with various operations, compliance and IT teams located across the globe to understand business & market requirements and translate those into business/functional specification documents epics and user stories.
The BA will also be responsible for creating process flows, participate in UI design, prioritize, and manage demands.

Your key responsibilities:
Work with the Product Owners/Product Managers and various end users to understand and document the requirements creating models, BRD, epics and user stories
Prioritize requirements and manage stakeholders’ expectations
Assess vendor solution and ensure requirements are met
Support QA with business testing and test recommendation
Contribute to the definition of the future state of the system architecture
Your skills and experience:
Must have in depth understanding of banking payments ecosystem and knowledge of various financial service messaging standards such as ISO15022/20022
Preferred to have prior knowledge of sanctions screening process and case management
Experienced in drafting requirements for a user interfacing application and improving user experience
Ability to translate complex and conflicting business requirements into functional specifications
Ability to analyze existing highly integrated payment application/processes
Toolset knowledge (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, modelling tools etc).
Working knowledge of SQL and ability to extract data to drive decisions
Deft in managing stringent project timelines in a regulated environment
Good documentation and communication skills and ability to communicate assertively, negotiate and prioritize requirements
Prior experience working in a scaled agile environment
