Job Description Summaryas
The Engineer designs and develops application code, implements technical solutions, and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. To meet the requirements of the business, the Engineer actively participates in the design and architecture of the application or its components, investigates and proposes appropriate technologies to be used, promotes re-usability of existing components and contributes to the creation of frameworks. Assists more junior members of the team and controls their work where applicable.
Role Overview
A technology-oriented developer is needed to join the Risk Finder team within the Enterprise Risk Technology space, to assist with the implementation of a strategic regulatory risk reporting platform to cater to various programs like FRTB, Historical Simulation, Counterparty Credit Risk and Stress Testing scenarios. Risk Finder Operational Services is the in-memory data analytics platform to generate various Risk metrics for the bank.
A strong technologist, self-starter, who is comfortable with independent engagement across functions is expected.

Your key responsibilities
Key tools – Azure, Docker, Openshift, Kubernetes and Jenkins
Scripting – Exposure to scripting like Mavan,Gradle ,shell, Python and Java
Key responsibilities:
• Excellent grasp on Technical Architecture and DevOps Concepts
• Excellent hands on Cloud tools like Azure
• Excellent hands on experience on automation tools and technology mentioned above
• Hands on experience on implementing and configuring pulg-in's to integrate above mentioned tools.
• Hands on experience in implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous deployments across departments from scratch using above tools.
• Should have system integration experience handling complex product/tool integrations to an existing/new CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience with Maven,Gradel, GIT, jsp, Angular and javascript
• Experience working in a Linux environment and open source libraries
• Fair understanding in Relational database concepts
• Excellent troubleshooting and solving skills.
• Agile/lean software development techniques and supporting tools like JIRA
• Deep understanding and involvement of implementing and rolling out automation tools across departments
• Proven experience in designing, building and maintaining an application architecture on physical/virtual/Cloud.
• Should be able to analyse an as-is/existing system in terms of DevOps and recommend a DevOps solution filling in the gaps as well as business and automation needs - the end goal being increasing speed to market and adding value.
• Automate all areas prone to manual errors while quantifying the need and value of an automation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education/Certification
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline is required; or equivalent combination of education and relevant proven work experience that is required for the specific job level.
