Role Location : Bangalore

Shift Schedule : Normal business hours and on-call support

• A degree in information security or computer science or cyber security or information technology.

• Extensive years of technical experience, including strong experience in security services.

• Proven hands-on experience in the following technology Splunk, Web proxy technologies

• Industry certification such as CISSP or CCSE or SANS and/or other Security certifications, such as GCIA or GCIH or CEH.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and be capable to present information to management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

• Have a thirst and willingness to expand knowledge with new technologies bringing benefits into the Tribe

• Experienced in one or more roles previously eg: Front/Back end Engineer, Operations Engineer, Integration Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Security Engineer, Service Desk etc

• Experience in handling, troubleshooting and resolving high priority incidents - triage, diagnose and restore defects/issues, identifying root cause and being pro-active to prevent future outages experience in handling major incidents, managing Problem Records, etc)

• Experience working with operations and architecture groups developing scalable and supportable solutions (desired but not mandatory)

• Autonomous, understand customer needs to make sound judgments

• Pays attention to the detail and demonstrates problem solving capability to develop and deliver quality solutions

• Understanding of current state landscape and relevant technologies

• Has a broad understanding of how to apply New Ways of Working to their role
The mission of ANZ's Secure Internet Services squad is to keep the bank safe by allowing secure access to the Internet

Key activities that support this mission

• Manage User and Application proxies

Key Priorities

• Maintain on-prem and SaaS proxies

• Support migration to cloud-based proxy (Zscaler)

• Work with Architects, Security Partners to maintain proxy architecture

• Attend to high priority incidents, raise changes for upgrades/patches etc

• Monitor request and incident queue

• Monitor and respond to mailbox queries

• Review and Whitelist websites/URL's

• On-board applications and workloads in Application proxies

• Create and maintain playbooks for BAU activities

• Support squad and other technology teams in delivering initiatives

• Rostered on-call support
