We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

Your responsibilities
You will be expected to perform the following tasks and responsibilities in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set standards and procedures that enable the business to take data based solutions through the complete analytics lifecycle, from prototyping through to automation and production at scale.
• Mentors and develops team members and encourages across the business the adoption and understanding of a "Data" culture.
• Design, plan and deliver BI projects to deliver efficient and effective data access and usage, and reporting of business performance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Deliver analytical tools to assist in the reporting of product and business performance.
• Ensure support tickets are effectively managed and resolved within service level agreement timeframes.
• Work with the business to formulate success metrics and ongoing tracking of performance across key deliverables.
• Create self-service systems to enable others to leverage data in the organization.
• Maximize efficiencies through performance-obsessed automation across the business.
• Work with data teams to advance the development of robust data pipelines to feed complex business needs.
• Shared responsibility for the data warehouse; data modelling to meet the needs of the business.
• Oversee and organise cross divisional training to advance skills in the development of effective dashboards and reports.
• Manage communication between all stakeholders during all phases of BI projects.
• Consultation with internal stakeholders to ensure a deep understanding of needs and how to transform requirements into tangible deliverables, efficiently.
• Prepare and present solution designs and strategic plans to senior stakeholders.
• Play an active role in cross functional ceremonies and meetings
Your skills & experience
Essential:
• 3+ years experience working in complex organizations; working in complex data environments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of business intelligence, data integration, data warehousing, data modelling, data visualization and the technical aspects of BI tools.
• Experience with scheduling, controlling, and monitoring projects.
• Experience using agile and waterfall approaches to projects.
• Experience in manipulating large datasets.
• Working knowledge of data protection and data governance.
• Proficient in use of data science frameworks, packages and tools (e.g. AWS Redshift, Athena, Tableau, Cognos etc.).
• Experience with Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Strategic thinker, customer mindset and diplomatic.
• Strong leadership, team-building capabilities.
• Experience in building strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Experience in:
• Detailed knowledge of system management processes (ITIL/SDLC)
• Experience using programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python etc.).
• Financial Services experience
• Experience working with Operation Risk applications
• Experience of JavaScript
Additionally exposure to the following would be highly advantageous though not essential;
• Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and DevOps
