Job Description
You will be based in our McKinsey Knowledge Center in Gurugram within the Private Equity and Principal Investors (PEPI) Solutions group, an integral part of our Global PEPI Client Capabilities Network (CCN). The PEPI practice focuses on serving PEPI clients across segments: private equity firms, institutional investors and real estate / infrastructure investing. The practice has many PEPI-affiliated partners / APs and associates across Asia who work closely with clients during their due diligence transaction and value capture process. You will be part of a global team based out of Dallas, Waltham, Lisbon, New York, Dusseldorf and Gurugram that seeks to implement best-in-class infrastructure and productization of our offerings for our clients.The objective of our PEPI Solutions group is to dramatically increase the speed with which PEPI expertise and knowledge, both firm-internal and external, is delivered and deployed through due diligence engagements and portfolio work. It is our objective to make PEPI Solutions a core expertise hub for the PEPI practice globally.You will play a vital role in the entire development lifecycle, exploring, designing, and implementing innovative solutions to enable our organization to drive efficiencies and unlock actionable insights from our unique datasets. In an agile environment, you will leverage a wide range of technologies including React, Azure services, and Node to develop software solutions. This role will include engagement with bespoke benchmarking tools, process enablement for rapidly scaling teams of hundreds of colleagues, and interactive data-visualization for management dashboards that link our quickly growing impact.You will collaborate daily with a broad and diverse range of stakeholders to understand complex business problems and then work in dedicated and focused teams to develop and deploy solutions. You will be a team player who thrives in entrepreneurial environments and shares our desire to produce measurable results and grow our individual and team capabilities.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree with an excellent academic record; a degree in computer science is preferred
• 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development
• Experience with digital, database-driven analytical tools
• Experience with and React
• Advanced software knowledge (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, R & Python) is a plus
