What are we looking for
We are looking to hire a Software Engineer for a back-end role with 3+ years of industry experience, primarily working with Golang. You will be a part of a fast-growing product team that designs, develops, and enhances product features, performs unit testing, and consistently achieves high code quality. As a key engineer, you will be exposed to product design and backend development that helps MeasureOne expand its core offerings to a global audience.
What you'll be doing
You will work on building high-impact products that serve businesses across various verticals. As a software engineer, you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and writing user stories to analyzing technical approaches, developing features, performing unit testing, and resolving issues. You will implement new functionalities, fix bugs, and continuously improve code quality and performance. By following best practices and design patterns, you will write clean, maintainable, and reliable code that delivers a great experience to our end users.
Skills you need to succeed in this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Golang, with along with and exposure to Node.JS and unit testing in Node.JS
• Strong experience working with Microservices Architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and core software engineering principles.
• Experience working in a lean environment with extreme programming & agile methodologies, continuous integration & deployment environment.
• Working knowledge of server configuration/deployment infrastructure.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with complex and challenging software requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
