Job Description
As an Electrical Utility Maintenance Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of electrical utility systems and equipment to ensure their proper functionality and reliability. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues, as well as implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime and optimize the performance of our utility systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of electrical utility systems and equipment to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure the ongoing reliability and efficiency of electrical utility systems.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute maintenance activities while minimizing disruption to operations.
• Respond to and resolve electrical system failures and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct root cause analysis for electrical equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any issues encountered, and provide regular reports to management.
• Stay informed about advancements in electrical engineering and utility maintenance practices and technologies to incorporate best practices into our operations.
Skills And Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in electrical utility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and motors.
• Experience with troubleshooting and fault-finding in electrical systems.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards in the electrical engineering field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
