What you’ll be doing...
The work you'll be doing will support mission and business-critical applications within Verizon. You will be enhancing the customer experience and building world class solutions. Under the mentorship of senior applications staff, you will work as a team member on various projects to develop, implement and maintain this important application.
• Developing highly efficient and reliable applications with frontend and backend technologies keeping security in mind.
• Executing a full software development life cycle (SDLC) – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
• Ensuring application development sprint cycle is on track and adjusting the plan to meet release timelines.
• Acting independently, at the same time displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams.
• Understanding the domain knowledge and adapting to an agile environment.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies.
• Developing, testing and deploying code for enterprise Middleware applications using Microservice architecture.
• Developing, testing and deploying code for enterprise Frontend applications using React(along with Redux).
• Developing backend services for integration (using Java/ J2EE and Spring Boot framework).
• Developing custom web services with SOAP and REST API's.
• Developing scalable and responsive frontend HTML using Bootstrap and CSS.

You'll need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
• One or more years of relevant work experience in full stack technologies.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development.
• Very good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Good in analyzing user requirements, functional and technical specifications of the application
• Good in analyzing user stories and use cases for validity and feasibility
• Good experience of application deployment in AWS/Cloud environments
• Good experience of application deployment in API platforms such as Apigee
• Good experience of full stack application development with frontend and backend technologies, along with knowledge of release management through Gitlab code repositories.
• Good experience of application unit testing using frameworks such as JUnit for Java and Jest for React.
• Collaborate and communicate with design, development, and other cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
• Experience in Workday or any Human Capital Management product is an add-on.
• Good understanding of DevOps model and CI/CD process.
• Ability to learn and upskill on new tools and technologies as per the project needs.
