Job Details
The MuleSoft Developer will play a crucial role in our company's success by developing and delivering an Anypoint Platform-based development project using API-driven design, messaging patterns, and software development best practices. The candidate should have good skills in the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, messaging patterns, endpoint security, interfaces with internal and external applications, and database knowledge. In addition, the candidate should be able to drive the entire cycle of project development, leading to business objectives and value realization.
Responsibilities:
• As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be accountable for analyzing and developing Integration solution architecture. Your role is crucial in meeting the information technology and business requirements, and your contributions will directly impact our business success. Understand and transform business requirements into scalable/manageable solution architecture and design specifications.
• As a MuleSoft Developer, you will be a crucial player in our team. You will partner with other functions across IT (DevOps, Release Management, INFOSEC, Infrastructure Operations) to ensure collaboration, consistency, and quality of solutions. Your input and expertise will be highly valued and integral to our success.
• Create the high-level design of integration solutions and guide implementation teams in choosing Mule components and patterns for the detailed design and implementation.
• Designs and Develops Mule applications for any of the available deployment options of the Anypoint Platform runtime plane
• To ensure solution quality, apply standard development methods covering the entire development lifecycle (discovery, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support).
• Advise technical teams on the performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and other operational concerns of integration solutions on the Anypoint Platform.
• Knowledge about healthcare data standards like HL7, FHIR.
• Design reusable assets, components, standards, frameworks, and processes to support and facilitate API and integration projects
• Supports the integration environment and solutions, including off-hours support of business-critical integration solutions
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and work on user stories/ backlog items and deliver same with highest quality
• Works closely with other Solution Architects and Senior Developers to ensure consistency and quality of solutions and knowledge sharing
• Provide continuous improvement and exploration of industry standards and technology advances.
• Gathers, understands, and clarifies complex business requirements.
Education and Required Experience:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desirable.
• At least one active MuleSoft Developer Certification is desirable.
• 7 years of progressively responsible experience with software development
• 5+ years of MuleSoft experience
• 5 years of experience developing API architecture using MuleSoft
• 5 years of experience utilizing MuleSoft AnyPoint and CloudHub Platform
• 5 years of experience performing CI/CD utilizing Bitbucket, Jenkins, Copado, or other tool
• 5 years of experience with Agile development methodology and frameworks
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API Strategy development
• Good experience with Anypoint Platform, Flow Design, API Design, Dataweave, and Cloud Hub
• Experience with 3rd Party MuleSoft Anypoint Connectors
• Fluency in Web Service Standards such as XML, SOAP, REST, Strong understanding of RDBMS (Oracle and MS SQL)
• API Security protocols OAUTH 2.0, SAML and Security using SSL certificates
• Experience with Salesforce integrations
• Mule ESB, SOA, JSON, XSD, XML
• Experience with MuleSoft On-Premise and Cloud solutions
• Experience with message queue design patterns
• Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications
• Experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs via API Gateways and proxies
