Job Description
Raw-Material scheduling
• Schedule Raw-Material receipts at plant considering date wise requirements, consumption patterns & any specific constraints at RM warehouse.
• Work with Sourcing teams to ensure smooth supplies & maintain required safety stocks at plant.
Warehouse capacity & stock transfers
• Provide necessary stock transfer plan to Central warehouse.
• Utilize capacities of warehouses- both central & plant correctly to minimize bonding.
• To manage raw-material supplies- both imported & local-to concerned warehouses with Impex and Purchase team respectively to avoid any detention due to space constraints.
Raw-Material Planning:
• Convert planned orders to Purchase requisitions / Purchase orders
• Maintain safety stocks as per system
• Coordinate with Vendor on supply schedules & PO confirmations
D. Deliverables / Targets
• Raw-Material availability at desired level and time with effective MRP reviews
• Optimum warehouse utilization to reduce bonding costs
• Maintain Inventory as per target
• Zero detention costs
Must have experience in Raw Material Planning, Sourcing, Production Planning, Working experience on SAP PP/Purchasing
Qualifications
Any graduate with material management or supply chain management course.
