Role
Engineer - Software Release
A purpose driven role for you
Managing Software releases, ALM, PLM, OTA & SAP integration
Responsible for vehicle BOM (bill of material) and drawing control in PLM system.
Responsible for handling change control & maintaining the accuracy of BOM.1
Responsible for identifying, highlighting, and supporting resolution of drawing/ BOM related issues across the organization.
Maintaining the standard fasteners library & issuing of the P/N as & when required.
Reviews new Part names, Drawings and BOMs to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to releasing them.
Maintains records for ongoing projects and provides progress reports as requested.
Responsible for support as CFT member for SAP Material-BOM management
Interface between R&D and Plant to support issue resolution.
Responsible for PLM Training, BOM Training, Drawing training, etc.
To control the BOM system for all New projects / Mass Production models
PLM Teamcentre Knowledge is must.
PLM & schedule manager support for new objects / business process / workflow / forms & dataset etc.
ECN Change Management Review.
Knowledge of Control / Storage of Drgs. And Specs. / Test Specs / standards
Triggering new ideas of improvement for Release Management Team.
Responsible that the prevailing processes and procedures within his department will be complied.

Academic Qualification & Experience
Diploma / b.tech Electronics & Comm/mechanical with 2-4 Years of experience.
Technical Skills/Knowledge
Knowledge of PLM ( Team center )
Good to have knowledge of ALM, OTA, Software flashing & SAP.
Basic CAD Knowledge ( CATIA )
Deep Knowledge of Drawing reviews / BOM & Variant Management
Analytical and problem solving skill
Behavioural Skills
Good interpersonal skills, good listening skills, and good communication skills
