Engineering - AutoCAD Civil3d Designer (New Opening)
Job Location: Pune or Work from Home
Job description: AutoCAD Civil3d Designer
Role & responsibilities:
Pipe network, Lot grading, creating surfaces, modelling surface as per design requirements, earthworks cut and fill material estimates, creating alignments, corridor assembly and working with corridors, creating roads/carparks, creating pipe networks, plan and section view generations, plan production by exporting from Civil 3d and using basic AutoCAD. Working experience on USA and UK project will be additional benefit.
1. Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to understand project requirements, specifications, and design criteria for pressure vessels and storage tanks.
2. Swap network parts as per the engineering and design teams.
3. Prepare detailed shop drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings for both new and existing products, adhering to drafting standards and best practices.
4. Utilize CAD software (such as AutoCAD civil3d) to create accurate 2D and 3D models.
5. Must have good 3D visualization capabilities.
6. Verify and review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards before final submission.
7. Coordinate with manufacturing personnel to address any technical issues during fabrication and assembly processes.
8. Maintain proper documentation and records related to drafting work, revisions, and changes made during the design and manufacturing stages.
+. Stay updated with industry trends, codes, and standards related to pressure vessels and storage tanks to ensure compliance and best practices in drafting.
Preferred candidate profile:
Minimum 1-5 years of proven experience as a AutoCAD civil3d with a focus on all utilities Network and Process network (All utilities Network, Process Network, etc).
1. Proficiency in using industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3d, Inventor) to develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings.
2. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards related to All utilities Network and process network.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials All utilities Network and process network.
4. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and error-free drawings.
5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey technical information clearly.
6. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
7. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
