About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineering Systems Lead to join our SSN AUKUS program.
Based out of our Adelaide CBD and Port Adelaide offices, you will report to the Head of Manufacturing Engineering and be responsible for leading a small team of Systems Engineers in providing technical solutions in the development of the digital tools and systems that will be used to manufacture the SSN AUKUS, keeping in mind quality, cost and schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the development of the Digital Systems and Tools that will be used to manufacture the SSN AUKUS
Work as an interface across all AUKUS Integrated Project Teams such as Engineering, Build, Enablement, Infrastructure, Nuclear, etc. and with the UK Submarine designer to ensure broad engagement and fit for purpose digital solutions are delivered on behalf of BAE Systems and our build partner ASC for our customer the ASA
Be responsible for ensuring the Systems Engineering outputs are developed in accordance with the approved company standard procedures and processes and meet the agreed operational needs of the customer
