We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofLead Consultant Specialist:
In this role, you will:
• Work as an Engineering Lead in Investments Sub Value stream under Asset Management IT
• Build solutions with an engineering mindset that not just achieve functional objectives but also cater to non-functional requirements with consistent performance that help our business to grow revenue.
• Take the ownership Front office platform capabilities
• Work with global stake holders - engineering, delivery teams, architects
• Driving full stack end to end solutions based on daily conversations within the scrum meeting
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Relevant IT Experience - 14 -16 years and should possess skill likesAFE framework, Agile and scrum methodology,JIRA and confluence skills,Frameworks/Libraries: Spring 3.0, Sprint boot, Hibernate 3.0, Junit, Log4J,
• The candidate should have a strategic outlook towards understanding, assessing, and implementing IT projects in HSBC asset management IT. HSBC Asset management is undergoing a business transformation and IT teams are partner in this journey. The candidate should think strategically, understand global trends and partner with global team to drive results
• Experience in Product management Software product lifecycle management, roadmap,product vision, etc and should be able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team, while accepting responsibility to drive internal decision-making processes and ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and unitswithin the organization.
• Strong expertise in capital markets and investment banking domain with excellent working knowledge of asset classes, portfolio management,asset management business trends andcandidate should have strong working knowledge of minimum 8 years in Asset business and IT system especially for Order Management System (OMS), Execution Management system (EMS) and Regulatory & Compliance side IT systems andshould have work experience on one or more OMS or EMS like BBG AIM, CRD, TLM etc.
• The candidate should be familiar with HSBC agile practices with excellent implementation knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean processes andshould be able to produce metrics using project management and devops tools
• The person should have managed agile teams, strong understanding of engineering practices (Architecture, design, development, testing, infrastructure, prod/non-prod support activities). The candidate should be able to assess priorities, influence and negotiate backlogs and adhere to timelines.
• Experience in DevOpsand good understanding of lean and agile methods of software delivery and good communication skills for navigating through business requirements, differences ofopinion on approach
• Experience of Coding in any language, being able to read and understand code and experience in Tools likeEclipse, SOAP UI, Toad, SQL Developer, RAD, RTC (Rational Team Concert), GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Certification of any cloud services.
