Job description
We’re looking for a hands-on, problem-solving Maintenance Engineering Technician to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance our production equipment and automation systems. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring minimal downtime, optimizing efficiencies, and driving continuous improvements.
What You’ll Do:
✔ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automated production equipment
✔ Maintain and manage spare parts inventory to keep operations running smoothly
✔ Continuously improve automation, reduce waste, and boost efficiency
✔ Troubleshoot PLC code, repair or replace faulty parts, and diagnose equipment issues
✔ Collaborate on the design, testing, and installation of custom automation systems
✔ Work with outside vendors to resolve equipment challenges
What You Bring to the Team:
✔ Associate’s degree in Electro-Mechanical, Controls, or Manufacturing Technology (or equivalent experience)
✔ 5+ years of experience in maintenance and repair of automated manufacturing systems preferably in the medical device field
✔ Hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, PLCs, robotics, and electrical systems
✔ Knowledge of Allen-Bradley/RSLogix PLC programming preferred
✔ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and automation specs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
