About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of expats and national engineers, fostering a high-performance culture.
Oversee the maintenance, reliability, and optimization of heavy fixed plant equipment, ensuring maximum availability.
Develop and implement engineering strategies that enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Ensure compliance with international and local electrical regulations and safety standards.
Manage capital projects, upgrades, and plant expansions.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to align engineering solutions with business goals.
Develop training programs to upskill the national workforce and promote knowledge transfer.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in plant automation and electrical systems.
About You:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Extensive experience in heavy industrial fixed plant equipment, ideally in mining, smelting, or power generation.
Proven leadership experience in a multicultural environment, managing both expat and local teams.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control systems in large-scale operations.
Track record of delivering engineering solutions that improve asset performance and reliability.
Experience working in Southeast Asia or similar international environments (preferred).
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
