What your day would look like:
• Help build and lead great software teams - including architecture reviews, task planning, research & development - to deliver world-class products
• Drive technical projects and provide leadership to your team members and project peers in an innovative and fast-paced environment
• Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement
• Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability, in collaboration with the engineering and management teams
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with external stakeholders and should be able to present Karza in technology forums, and conferences
Job Requirement
What you need to work with us:
• Experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design, along with experience in internet, mobile platforms, video and streaming services
• Experience in designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems
• Demonstrated people management and leadership skills, proven track record of mentoring and coaching team members (managing teams of 5 or more developers)
• Should have a very strong understanding of at least one major cloud service provider (AWS/GCP/Azure) ecosystem
• Experience in at least two of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript and Java
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where goals and requirements may be changing
Experience:
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or closely related degree
• Industrial and/or academic experience using large scale data analysis techniques (e.g., Statistics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning).
• 4+ years of professional experience architecting, developing, and shipping software products and/or services
