Position: Engineering Manager( Data Security R&D and AI Security)
Job Title:

Software Engineering Manager Role Purpose A software engineering manager oversees the design and development of software applications and develops solutions powered by Fujitsu’s new processor, which help solve real-world challenges facing society and businesses across different industries. The Software Engineering Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs and ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met for developing innovative advanced solutions and services to support business outcomes.

Responsibilities
• Leadership of Data Security R&D for driving his/her software development team.
• Design, enhance, utilize, maintain software applications using Cloud-based Data Security technologies.
• Enable and optimize OSS/ISV applications for Fujitsu’s new processor, starting with Data Security related applications.
• Improve and analyze performance of software applications using secured engineering technologies.
• Supervise training and development of software engineering staff.
• Assign work to software engineering personnel and evaluate plus manages their performance.
• Present practical input for strategic technology decisions
• Support preparation of Technology Roadmap
• Identify research problems and propose new approaches to possibly solve the problems.
• Working and communicating well with product directors/managers, business analysts, data engineers and data scientists, and other software developers to collaborate, review and deliver high quality applications.
• Support to recruit engineering personnel, technical staff, and project team formation.
• Collaborate with research teams, industry stakeholders and government agencies. Key Performance Indicators

You will be able to demonstrate that you have:
• Degree in computer science or relevant field
• Proven experience as a software engineering manager or similar role, and familiarity with common stacks for software applications
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production application/solution development using Data Security technologies as a manager.
• Experience in Confidential Compute Architecture and Secure software development frameworks.
• Knowledge of secured Cryptography libraries and protocols
• Knowledge and experience related to debugging and security analysis tools.
• Experience with secure coding practices with awareness of global security standards.
• Experience in secured framework with compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Strong experience with Realm Management, virtualization and hypervisor technologies used in data security for large scale data intensive workloads.
• Experience with software vulnerabilities analysis and privacy preservation in cloud computing.
• In depth understanding and knowledge of the specified data analytic tools and technologies with Framework engineering experience.
• Knowledge of OSS as an alternative to cloud computing for each layer
• Experience in software development in agile approach as a technical leadership.
• Excellent writing, verbal communication, and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience

You will be able to demonstrate that you have:
• Preferred experience in performance tuning, optimization techniques and statistical analysis with various open-source software tools and technologies.
• Preferred experience with Trusted execution environment (TEE) and Dynamic Trust Zone Technology in AI applications.
• Knowledge and experience in Cloud service (Azure/AWS) features such as Functions, VM, Container, Dev Ops (CI/CD), Kubernetes and Open Stack.
• Proficiency with fundamental back-end server-side languages such as C/C++/Rust/Python, etc.
• Skills in cutting-edge data security related technologies for CPU-based architecture.
• Preferred experience with cryptographic protocols, secure boot processes, access control mechanisms, and threat modeling
• Great skills in evaluating performance and security of software applications and delivering secured solutions which are efficient and performant
