Job Description

Mission
To ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all hospital utilities, facilities, and equipment, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing energy usage, and providing exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Outcomes
Maintain all utility equipment in optimal working condition with less than 2% downtime.
Achieve 100% implementation of the Preventive Maintenance program.
Ensure all statutory requirements related to the engineering department are met without exceptions.
Implement energy conservation programs to reduce energy expenses by 10% within the first year.
Conduct annual energy audits with external agencies and achieve at least +0% of recommended improvements.
Successfully negotiate contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings of at least 15% while maintaining quality.
Remain within the budgeted cost for all engineering-related expenses.
Develop and achieve short and long-term goals for the engineering department.
Hire and maintain an effective team with a turnover rate of less than 10% annually.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and implement safe engineering practices across all operations.
Achieve a +5% satisfaction rate in handling customer complaints and feedback related to engineering services.

Qualifications
Bachelor Of Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Experience in Hospitals / Hotels / MNC corporate office. Preference for Charter Engineer from Institute of Engineers Kolkata.
