Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying advanced theories, concepts, and principles practiced in naval architecture/structural engineering to collaborate on development efforts, resolving complex issues, and performing maintenance requirements for all structural systems for the branch, which includes inspection/repair/opening/closing of tanks, Special Hull Treatment (SHT), Mold In Place (MIP), preservation, sound damping, deck covering and Maintenance Requirement Card (MRC) inspections
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social)

Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required
To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation
