Job Summary
The Department of English at Kwantlen Polytechnic University invites applications for two half-time temporary faculty positions (2 x 50% non-regular type 2 appointments), subject to budgetary availability. The contract period for one of these positions with four courses (sections) to be taught either in Summer term or across Summer and Fall terms.

The successful candidate will have a record of undergraduate teaching excellence in a student-centred environment and a strong commitment to departmental and university service. Preference will be given to candidates with a specialization in composition and rhetoric. A background or a demonstrated interest in one or more of the following would be an asset: British Romanticism, digital writing and pedagogy, new media and/or digital humanities, the graphic novel, and cross-cultural global literatures. An M.A. in English is required; a Ph.D. is preferred.
