Burdekin Catholic High School, Ayr is a secondary co-educational school for students in Years 7 to 12. About the role

Burdekin Catholic High School is seeking an experienced and dedicated English Teacher. This is a Full Time, Fixed Term position commencing as soon as practicable until 19 September 2025.

Mandatory Criteria/Professional Registration/Other

Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers

Current Driver’s Licence

Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville

Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.

Desirable Criteria

Demonstrates active pastoral engagement, authentic witness, sacramental participation and leadership in the life of the Church

Professional activity through membership of professional association/s and on-going professional development.
