REQUIREMENTS:
• B.A/ M.A in English or B.Ed
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in teaching English
• Must have excellent English pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar skills
• Working Experience with the NGO sector will be preferred
• Team skills and ability to relate with Children.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Planning course material and activities
• Assessing the students’ progress (e.g homework, exam grades, etc.)
• Preparing reports on the performance of the students
• Finding innovative methods to teach
• Regular progress monitoring of the students
• Encourage students in English speaking fluency
• Building trusting relationships with students, parents and other staff
• Participating in staff, group or other meetings
• Giving motivating and interesting lessons to your students
• Guiding students to take part in different competitive examinations Interaction with parents & discussion with individual parents during P.T.A meetings.
• Approaching families (in the community) of drop out children or other cases.
• Regular community mobilization & organizing community meetings.
DOCUMENTATION AND RECORD KEEPING:
• Submitting individual reports timely
• Updation of Activities Register timely
• Keeping the Attendance Register Updated.
• Document the work-related details like students profile, case studies, etc.
OTHERS:
• Adherence to Deepalaya ethics, systems & procedures
• Any other responsibility as assigned by management.
