Job Description
As an Enovia Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions within the Enovia product suite. Enovia is a collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) platform used for managing and tracking product data, engineering processes, and collaboration across different departments and teams. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and other developers to deliver high-quality Enovia solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development: Design, develop, and customize Enovia applications and modules based on business requirements. This includes configuring Enovia workflows, data models, user interfaces, and integrating Enovia with other enterprise systems.
Customization and Configuration: Customize Enovia to meet specific business needs by creating new features, modifying existing functionalities, and configuring workflows and business rules. Ensure that customizations align with best practices and maintain upgradability.
Integration and Data Migration: Integrate Enovia with other enterprise systems, such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools, and PLM applications. Develop data migration strategies and scripts to transfer data from legacy systems to Enovia.
Technical Support and Issue Resolution: Provide technical support to end-users and resolve system issues related to Enovia functionalities, configurations, and integrations. Investigate and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and other developers to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation of Enovia solutions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, conduct unit testing, and participate in system integration testing to ensure the quality and reliability of Enovia solutions. Identify and resolve defects or issues during the testing phase.
Documentation and Training: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, installation guides, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions and provide knowledge transfer to end-users and support teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Enovia development and customization.
Proficiency in Enovia APIs, development tools (such as MatrixOne, MQL, JPO), and customization frameworks (such as AEF).
Familiarity with Enovia data models, workflows, and business rules.
Understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, and engineering processes.
Experience with integrating Enovia with other enterprise systems using technologies like web services, APIs, and ETL tools.
Knowledge of programming languages like Java, C++, or scripting languages like JavaScript or Groovy.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
