Job Summary:
The Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service Enrolled Nurse Casual Pool is now accepting applications.
This casual pool works by accepting applications on a continuing basis for a period of 12 months. A selection panel will regularly review and assess applications, keeping you informed during the process.
Key Responsibilities:
Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to assist with providing high-quality patient care at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service.
Maintain cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the healthcare team.
Plan and prioritize your own work program to achieve defined outcomes and exercise judgment when required to solve problems arising in your work area.
Provide verbal and documented information within your scope of practice to patients, other healthcare team members, and members of the public.
Contribute to your professional expertise by maintaining ongoing personal professional development and continuing education through a portfolio of post-enrolment learning.
About You:
Be an Enrolled Nurse enrolled by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
Be a team player able to work cohesively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Have experience in providing nursing and/or midwifery care in a healthcare setting in accordance with standards of practice.
Have high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
