Instructeur(trice) bénévole en anglais/français (Programme de soutien aux immigrants)
Offrir un soutien linguistique aux enfants et aux adultes immigrants en enseignant l’anglais et/ou le français de niveau débutant à intermédiaire. Aider les nouveaux arrivants à développer les compétences de communication nécessaires pour la vie quotidienne, le travail et l’intégration à la communauté au Canada. Planifier et animer des leçons interactives, faciliter la pratique de la conversation et adapter les méthodes d’enseignement aux divers besoins d’apprentissage et aux contextes culturels des apprenants.
Ce rôle favorise l’intégration communautaire tout en permettant au bénévole d’acquérir une expérience pratique en enseignement, de développer des compétences pédagogiques et d’apprendre les meilleures pratiques dans un environnement éducatif canadien. Une formation et un mentorat seront fournis par l’organisation afin de soutenir un enseignement efficace et l’engagement en classe.
Volunteer English/French Language Instructor (Immigrant Support Program)
Provide language support to children and adult immigrants by teaching basic to intermediate English and/or French. Assist newcomers in developing communication skills needed for daily life, work, and community integration in Canada. Plan and deliver engaging lessons, facilitate conversation practice, and adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs and cultural backgrounds.
This role supports community integration while allowing the volunteer to gain hands-on teaching experience, develop instructional skills, and learn best practices within a Canadian educational environment. Training and mentorship will be provided by the organization to support effective teaching and classroom engagement.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $1.00 per year
Expected hours: 3 – 10 per week
