Responsibilities
Develop, own, and communicate the technical vision, strategy, and architectural runway for Group Shared Services - Data Services.
Provide expert architectural leadership for establishing the group's modern data platforms, including data governance, analytics, and business intelligence solutions.
Define the architecture for managing the full spectrum of data assets, including structured, unstructured, records, and spatial data.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Architecture, Product Managers, and other Principal Architects to guide investment decisions and manage technical debt.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Solution Architects and Agile teams.
You will have
10+ years of experience in a technology architecture role, with proven success designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures in a large, complex organisation.
You will have worked in a large data transformation project
Expertise in modern data platforms (e.g., cloud-based data warehouses, data lakes), data governance frameworks, and master data management.
Experience with records management and spatial data management is desirable.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and management
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Proven ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels, including executive leaders and external partners.
