Job Overview
As a Enterprise Data Architect, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our data strategy and delivering transformative data solutions that drive business outcomes and regulatory compliance. You'll work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into solution designs that meet their needs.
We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of data architecture, data warehousing, and data quality, with experience in financial services or risk management. You'll lead the full lifecycle of data initiatives from inception to delivery, working closely with process owners, architects, and developers.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into solution designs that meet their needs.
Conduct technical impact analyses, document solutions, and ensure buy-in from all parties involved.
Work across the wider project roadmap to ensure Business Intelligence (BI) requirements are addressed, within an agile delivery environment.
Align stakeholder interests to ensure the squad's priorities are met and mitigate risks associated with new changes in the industry.
Requirements
Strong passion for data platforms and warehouses, with recent experience in financial services or risk management.
Experience with regulatory reporting is beneficial, as is expertise in data governance, data modeling, data quality monitoring, data lineage, or similar areas.
Proven track record of translating business needs into actionable user stories and creating documentation meaningful to both business stakeholders and developers.
Excellent data reasoning skills, with the ability to make decisions and influence stakeholder expectations to ensure optimal outcomes.
Ability to challenge ideas constructively and suggest possible solutions, while being accountable for delivering results.
