We are hiring an experienced Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise-wide data architecture initiatives supporting analytics, governance, interoperability, and AI strategy.
This role will be responsible for defining scalable enterprise data models, semantic frameworks, metadata strategy, and domain-driven architecture across modern cloud and Lakehouse platforms.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, governance, ontology design, MDM, and modern data platforms such as Databricks.
Responsibilities
• Define and govern enterprise conceptual, logical, and canonical data models
• Design domain-driven architectures aligned with business capabilities
• Lead metadata and semantic architecture initiatives including lineage, catalogs, and governance
• Partner with business and technology teams to establish scalable data standards and interoperability
• Provide architectural guidance for data products, integrations, and enterprise pipelines
• Drive enterprise-wide data consistency, discoverability, and reusable data assets
• Support AI-ready data architecture and semantic modeling initiatives
• Mentor engineering and architecture teams on enterprise data modeling best practices
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Enterprise Information Architecture
• Strong expertise in:
• Enterprise Data Modeling
• Semantic Modeling / Ontology Design
• Metadata Management
• MDM & Entity Resolution
• Data Governance
• Experience with Databricks or modern Lakehouse platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud-based enterprise data ecosystems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills
• RDF, OWL, UML, SKOS, or semantic technologies
• Knowledge Graph or AI-ready architecture experience
• Experience within legal or financial services environments
• Experience mentoring architects and engineering teams
