Job Description
At PwC Australia, the work undertaken in Tech Hub covers a range of areas from leading and supporting the company through to the build or adoption of new technology, to protecting against risk, and delivering valuable data insights that transform our technology capabilities. As an Enterprise Data Steward, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing the integrity, usability, and governance of enterprise-wide data assets to support business objectives and processes. This role focuses on ensuring that data is properly defined, documented, and maintained, promoting effective data utilization and adoption across the organization, working with clients across Tech Hub to act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to align data management efforts with strategic goals.

What you’ll do:
Establish and maintain enterprise data standards and definitions for organizational consistency.
Monitor and improve data quality and oversee data lifecycle processes to ensure integrity.
Implement data stewardship programs and promote a culture of data responsibility.
Develop and deliver training to enhance data literacy and best practices across the organization.
Participate in governance forums, resolve enterprise data issues, and support Data Steward maturity and capability growth.
What we’re looking for:
Extensive expertise in data management principles, including quality, lifecycle, metadata, and governance frameworks.
Strong business domain knowledge to advocate for and manage enterprise data assets.
Skilled in analysing data trends to develop improvement strategies and promote stewardship best practices.
Experienced technical expert and first-level Team Leader, providing advice, solving complex problems, and driving team results.
Proficient in collaborating across teams, understanding regulations, managing compliance, and prioritizing annual work plans.
