Roles and Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities (Day Job) : monitoring and risk assessment of key business processes to drive risk-based audit plan. Build effective relationships with stakeholders, firm is seeking a strong IT Audit candidate to cover the applications and system infrastructure. Provide technology audit coverage in integrated audits through risk assessments, audit planning, testing and reporting. Develop an understanding of the areas reviewed and the technology that supports them Lead client discussions on key processes and document walkthrough narratives and/or flow charts. Identify and evaluate key technology risks. Create and execute test procedures to assess the designated control environment, and clearly document results in line with internal documentation standards. Assist in the identification and documentation of reportable issues and participate in presenting and communicating issues to management. Manage audits to ensure timeliness of completion. Maintain ongoing communication with Technology management to follow-up on previously identified audit issues. Participate in continuous
Requirements : Educational & Professional Credentials :
Masters/ Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Information Security, Technology Risk & Control Assurance etc. from a reputed institute. Industry relevant certifications like CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP etc. will be an added advantage.
Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task between several projects Strong understanding of industry standards such as the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53, PCI-DSS, CSA, ISO 27001/02, CIS Top 20 Critical Security Controls (formerly SANS), FFIEC guidelines etc. Technical knowledge of IT systems, including:
• Databases
• Operating Systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows, z/OS)
• Networking, including VPN, LAN, WAN, WLAN
• Backup and Recovery system
• Middleware
• Virtualization Technologies
• Penetration Testing Tools
• Tools such as Splunk, ArcSight, WatchTower
Good understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, risk, confidentiality, integrity, availability, cryptography, network security, web-based applications architecture and security, network protocols Experience with Data Analysis using data mining tools
Experience : 3-5 yrs of industry-related IT audit experience (Required) General understanding of the internal audit processes (e.g., risk assessments, planning, testing, reporting and continuous monitoring) (Required)
