Server Administrator Job Description: As a Server Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of our server infrastructure. Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server and VMWare vCenter Server/Clusters.
• Main Accountabilities:
• Provision and manage Windows Server environments
• Configure and optimize VMWare vCenter Server/Clusters
• Patching and vulnerability management using Bigfix, SCCM, WSUS, and VUM
• Resolving complex technical issues with Windows and VMWare environments
• Network and storage administration
• Development of robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Automation of tasks using PowerShell and Power CLI
• Management of Active Directory, GPO, File Servers, DHCP, and DNS
Required Skills: Technical expertise in Windows Server, VMWare vCenter Server/Clusters, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
