Job Description
Under general supervision, oversees moderately complex implementation projects or oversees various aspects of highly complex implementation projects. Responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure implementation deliverables are delivered on time and meet client requirements. Activities may include development of work plan, identify appropriate resources needed, coordinate activities of project team, facilitate/lead client meetings or other design/specifications sessions and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Ensures that implementations and related services are delivered on time and meet client requirements by maintaining control over the project schedule, risks, scope of work and budget.
Responsibilities:
• Estimate the design and implementation efforts for projects and CR’s.
• Demonstrate clear, concise, accurate and timely communication to peers, management and customers in written and oral form.
• Contribute to address existing issues and to optimize existing design/code to make it more efficient.
• Work on development tasks and RCA as per project needs.
• Troubleshoot, develop and Fine tune BOBJ Reports.
• Document all BOBJ related work per company's methodology.
• Build, review and analyze the Reporting requirements.
• Design, develop, implement, and assist in validating BOBJ Reports.
• Strong analytical skills, able to apply inductive and deductive thinking to generate solutions for complex problems.
• Experience in working with customers at all levels of business.
• Ability to work both independently and in teams
Required experience:
• Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
• Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science
• Experience: Total IT around 3-5 years with at-least last 2-3 years in SAP Business Objects.
• Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, Data Architecture, ETL & Reporting concepts.
• Design and develop end to end reporting solution.
• Hands-on proficiency with IDT/UDT client tools.
• Develop simple to complex web Intelligence reports/dashboards (Universe Based/Custom SQL) solutions as per client specifications.
• Basic understanding of administration via CMC.
• Proficient with Oracle functions, procedures, and performance tuning of SQLs.
• Deep understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, MySQL or SQL Server) concepts, including data modeling, SQL writing, SQL performance tuning, SDLC processes and tools, agile program management concepts
