Responsibilities

Receive, record, and bank cash, checks, and credit card payments
Comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations
Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts
Perform general office duties such as sorting and delivering incoming mail, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence
Prepare band deposits by compiling data, verifying and balancing receipts, and sending cash, checks, or other forms of payment to bank
Calculate and prepare checks for permits, taxes, and other payments
Performs other related duties as assigned

Accountant

Our client is a rapidly growing firm that has a newly created Accountant opportunity. They are seeking someone with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and 0-2 years of experience and a strong understanding of GAAP. The role has a ton of growth potential as the company continues to expand.

Responsibilities:
• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Maintains the general ledger.
