Overview
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Woodworker/Carpenter to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in learning the carpentry trade or gaining hands-on woodworking experience. Assisting the department’s Team Lead with a variety of tasks, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood products.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Assist with basic carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling wood.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
Sand, finish, and prepare wood surfaces.
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites or in the workshop.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Always follow instructions and safety protocols.
.Perform other general labor or shop support tasks as needed
Experience
Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or related fields is essential.
Familiarity with reading blueprints or shop drawings
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
