Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Graphic and Web Designer to join our creative team. As an entry-level role, this position will allow you to develop skills in both graphic design and user experience (UX) design on the job. You will get the opportunity to work with tools like CoralDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and web design software to craft visual designs for digital and print media.
Responsibilities:
• Graphic design (50%): Develop graphics, infographics, flyers, presentations, print ads, email newsletters, booklets, brochures, and more using visual design software. Apply brand guidelines and aesthetics to produce materials that drive awareness and engagement.
• Website design and UX (40%): Design prototypes, web pages, landing pages, and user interfaces for our clients' websites and web applications. Work with UX designers and clients to improve the overall user experience and journey. Stay up-to-date with web design software, standards, and best practices.
• Other (10%): Assist in designing product packaging, marketing collateral, exhibit booths, signage, presentations, dashboards, and additional materials as needed. Perform general administrative tasks related to the design function.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
• 0-12 months of experience with design tools like CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, and prototyping software (Figma, Invision). Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.
• Basic skills in user experience (UX) design, interaction design, and simple web page layout. Enthusiasm to develop stronger UX abilities.
• Strong visual design skills with the ability to create graphics and materials that communicate messages effectively and follow brand style guidelines.
• Working knowledge of design fundamentals like layout, typography, color theory, imagery, and more.
• Up-to-date with the latest web design standards, technologies, and trends.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to receive and incorporate feedback.
• Aspiring to continually strengthen skills and take on more complex design and UX responsibilities over time.
